I would do this choice without hesitation. That said I use a pretty heavy sound, even for a bass, so more standard applications probably won’t suffer the same issue so quickly. Do not look for a bigger sound, it only master the dynamics. I definitley recommend those home studio owners on a budget to check out the XL as a reliable option for using compression.

Ergonomics standard, nothing wrong, the knobs are spaced a minimum of one another to handle it without the boy’s fingers, they are more serrated, very convenient to find a position.
